I'm an off-road dirt bike rider/racer and sports enthusiast
I'm a huntress

A little more info for y'all to help know what makes me, me!

For the majority of my life I have been exposed to the outdoor and hunting industry through my parents and primarily my father, Tim Gump, designer of the Superflauge/Migration/Superflauge Game camoflauge for Trebark by Lynch. It has shaped my childhood; through experiences and memories, given me an aspect of life I value with past occurrences to present interactions, and has instilled a fervor in my way of life that I want to build upon.

I ride dirt bikes off-road and race the womens class in the local woods racing series. I met my husband through this sport and now attend the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series with him being his support and pit crew when he races. It is a past time I enjoy and have learned I have more strength, mentally and physically, than what I previously thought - every time I take part!

I also moutain bike, hike, kayak (raced), rock climb, and track prep to keep myself physically active!

Ive played the bass guitar since I was 5 years old, first learning 'Old Man' by Neil Young on my black and white Peavey electric bass. Since then Ive progresed tremendously (i.e., creating a style of playing that encompasses "chords" on a fretless instrument) and am playing the upright bass for the Willow Run Bluegrass group, traveling and playing publicly, routinely. I became a bass instructor for the Marion County Technical Centers bluegrass club, and also recieved a scholarship to attend the Augusta Heritage Festival at Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV to study bluegrass style, upright bass. I was mentored there by Open Road Bluegrass' Eric Thorin and was titled "his most promising student."

Thats right, I played football - varsity football.

I became the first girl to play varsity football at North Marion High School, taking the position of kicker my sophomore year, and playing free safety and corner when needed.

I never let the gender boundary get in my way when I was determined to go after my goal. I encountered many skeptics, physical obstacles, and mental inhibitions, but I kept myself focused to eventually prove to others and myself that I could be taken serious. Thus gaining much respect from my team, coaches, viewers, and myself.
